Hmmm...y'know, that actually makes some sense. Chell DOES have a portal gun that makes getting at victims much easier, and she DOES live in the Half-Life Universe, where portals to other worlds could easily be made...but that means she also shares a world with GORDON FREEMAN, zombie-killer extraordinaire. Also, that begs the question of how Chell herself was zombified-maybe a delayed reaction to GlaDoS and Wheatley's neurotoxins?
The overall effect with this one makes it look a bit like the silent protagonist of Portal is melting layer by layer-the obviously broken spine doesn't exactly hurt that notion. We kind of wonder how her portal gun still works when it's almost as ravaged as its wielder, but the overall effect is nice. Probably a good thing that we can't see her lower legs, too-if her heel springs are as damaged as the portal gun, they're probably not nice to look at.
